The connection between the booster of the flat transport vehicle and the intake and exhaust pipes must be tight and leak-free.

The maintenance of flatbed transport vehicles should pay attention to the following points:
1. The connection between the turbocharger and the intake and exhaust pipes must be tight and leak-free. If there is a leak between the exhaust pipe and the waste gas turbine, the efficiency of the turbocharger will be greatly reduced, and the exhaust temperature of the diesel engine will rise sharply, damaging the valves and the turbocharger.
2. Before starting a new engine, clean engine oil must be filled in the turbocharger and the turbocharger oil filter to ensure that when the diesel engine starts, the turbocharger bearings can be lubricated. After the vehicle has traveled 8000 to 10000 km, the turbocharger oil filter element must be replaced.
3. Before shutting down the diesel engine of the flatbed transport vehicle, it should run at idle for 3 to 5 minutes to allow the turbocharger speed to decrease and the temperature to lower, while listening to the operating sound of the turbocharger. If any abnormalities are found, the engine should be stopped for inspection. If the turbocharger rotor does not rotate smoothly or there are grinding noises, it must be sent to a qualified repair station for repair.
4. For flatbed transport vehicles, after every 500 hours of operation or 30000 km, the gap on the turbocharger rotor shaft should be checked, and dust and carbon deposits on the compressor turbine housing and rotor blades should be removed. At this time, the turbocharger should be removed from the diesel engine, and the metal gasket between the turbocharger and the exhaust pipe should be replaced. Mechanical methods should not be used to remove deposits from rotor components; instead, gasoline or other cleaning solutions for aluminum parts should be used.
5. The locking nut of the turbocharger compressor on the flatbed transport vehicle must not be disassembled, otherwise, it will damage the dynamic balance of the turbocharger rotor, leading to turbocharger damage.
6. For flatbed transport vehicles, do not damage or deform any rotating parts of the disassembled turbocharger, as this will affect the balance of the turbo. Similarly, no rubber seals should be damaged.
